As the lead singer for the legendary band Blood Sweat & Tears, Jason toured extensively, showcasing his exceptional range and stage presence. He delivered an iconic performance as the rap soloist for Michael Jackson’s “Black or White” at the King of Pop’s 30th Anniversary concert at Madison Square Garden, broadcast live on CBS. Jason’s versatile voice is featured on major albums, including Foreigner’s “Can’t Slow Down,” Meat Loaf’s “Bat Outta Hell 3,” The Scorpions’ “Hour 1,” Frankie Valli’s “Romancing the 60’s,” and “The Art of McCartney” tribute album, supporting legends like Billy Joel, Roger Daltrey, Kiss, and Smokey Robinson. His vocal talents extend to film and television, with credits in “Rick and Morty,” “Phineas & Ferb,” “Sponge Out of Water,” “The Jersey Boys,” “Annie”, The Muppet Movie,, and as a medley of singing food characters in “Sausage Party”. Recognizable highlights include Coke’s “Can You Feel It”, Pepto Bizmol’s “Nausea Heartburn Indigestion”, Mountain Dew’s “Bohemian Rhapsody, Taco Bell’s “Think Outside The Bun”, Subway’s “Eat Fresh”, Bounty’s “Quilted Quicker Picker-Upper” and of course the OG theme to the cartoon phenomenon “Pokémon” which was a Billboard #1 single played by millions on Guitar Hero and scored what was at the time the # 1 most viewed / imitated video of all time on YouTube.

As a writer and producer, he co-wrote the Scorpions’ anthem “The Future Never Dies” alongside Eric Bazilian, Russ Irwin, and Desmond Child, helping to shape their concept album “Hour 1.” His production credits include Billboard #1 dance artist Becky Baeling, Broadway’s Shoshana Bean, and Suzie McNeil with Marti Frederiksen. Jason’s creative reach extends to memorable jingles-he co-wrote the famous “Lego-mania” theme and produced its 2024 extended remake. Theatrically Jason originated the role of Joe in the award winning world premier of Frank Zappas “Joes Garage” at Open Fist theatre and is an original member of L.A.’s acclaimed “ForTheRecord” Directors concert series appearing in all of their shows since inception. He recieved the Broadwayworld.com award for best Actor in a los Angeles Musical for FTR’s “Scorsese An American Crime Drama”. He also starred in and co-produced the world premier of Ty Taylor’s “The Existents” also at Open Fist. Jason produced and starred in Orchestre Surreal’s “Concerto For the Committed” at L.A.’s Ford Amphitheatre aired on LA 36 and at the Dorothy Chandler Theatre, aired on PBS TV. He opened SCTV Legend Ron West’s the World Premier of “Musical Fools” at the Open Fist theatre in L.A. to rave re- views. Jason was in “Rent” at the Hollywood Bowl directed by Neil Patrick Harris and the 25th anniversary National tour of “Hair”. He starred as Jesus in Steven Schwart’s “Godspell” at the Warner Theatre in Washington D.C. and Judas in Webber’s “JC Superstar” at Cherry County Playhouse. He sang along side of Peter Frampton in the “British Rock Symphony” At the Beacon theatre and was a 15 year member of Michael McElroy’s renowned Broadway Inspirational Voices.

On Screen Jason appeared in the Oscar nominated film “Election”. He produced “The What’s Up Show”, his own reality/music/comedy show on Manhattan cable TV which garnered a cult following in NYC. Hes been seen in many National TV commercials, Soap operas, and can be heard as the Buttmeister announcer in “Meet the Spartans ”.
